Buklod Bayani Buklod Bayani is a business assistance platform that aims to make
business-related undertakings convenient for enterprising organizations, for profit or
otherwise, by giving access to sensible information, a directory of relevant government
and non-government services, real-time monitoring and tracking of compliance
processes, and dialogue to resolve conflict. A business-friendly and investor-ready
environment is believed to improve the survival rates of businesses, particularly the
MSMEs who account currently total 1,080,810 registered businesses that hold 62.66% of all jobs in the Philippines (DTI, 2020). We shall listen intently and give stakeholders a
voice across various concerns, including ease of doing business, competitiveness, and
gaps in the value chain. As a coalition composed of the country’s formidable business
associations and government agencies, we are tightly structured and able to put our
acts together to create a conducive and enabling environment for businesses to grow
and expand.

A Filipino term meaning bond of heroes, Buklod Bayani aims to inspire action and
collaboration among businesses regarded as modern-day heroes and big brothers of
communities. As a collective with hundreds of years of business experience, we
understand the business landscape in the Philippines. We are a repository of valuable
information, problem-solving expertise, networks, and a vast pool of resources relevant
to developing the ecosystem for inclusive businesses in the country and, perhaps,
Southeast Asia.

Having members with first-hand knowledge and experience enables us to identify gaps
in the ecosystem and co-create solutions for the economy and society. We shall provide
resources that enable government to enhance processes, resolve policy issues, and
reduce unnecessary delays. To scale the campaign for socio-economic results of the
Buklod Bayani, we shall provide blockchain digital platforms, virtual assistant (Bayani
Enterprise Assistant or BEA), and an existing national hotline system (Hotline 117) to
monitor investment and business applications. Inspired by a love for the country, Buklod
Bayani envisions a business-friendly and investor-ready Philippines.
